Fix-it-up: Kate's Adventure is Time Management game being predecessor of successful series of Fix-it-up games. In the form of comics and ingame dialogues it shows the story of young and resourceful Kate who after coming back home finds her dad in trouble with his own auto repair shop. As it comes out Kate has natural talent for both car fixing and money making. She not only restores father's workshop to former glory, but starts her own business. While traveling across the country in order to find her place, she will meet many interesting people including two candidates for her heart. Gameplay centers on buying, upgrading, renting and selling cars. Fast pace and great diversity of different actions will never make player bored. It also allows player to develop his own strategy and an order of completing goals. He must keep an eye on a money, spare parts reserve, proper amount of workers and size of an income. All cars must be kept clean and working. During level new goals may arrive, special orders may be placed and new possibilities may be unlocked. One can expand his workshop by building new buildings (like paint shop or tuning shop). Each building has its own, unique function, allowing upgrading cars. Clients also have their own preferences which allows player to become a truly bargain hunter. All in all rules of the Fix-it-up are easy to learn and understand but hard to master. Wining a level should not be too difficult, but finishing it in an expert time will be plainly more challenging in most cases. Doing it will be awarded by unlocking special levels after the end of every location. There is a system of 69 awards gained while accomplishing certain achievements such as buying 5000 spare parts or selling 5 vans. This free mode is special feature which is targeted for all those players who want to steady expand their business in chosen scenario and not being bothered by time flow.
